At first Emily started she barely spoke, just sitting drawing tiny flowers in pencil. By the time she left she was chatting to everyone and painting big abstract paintings. She told us how the confidence she gained in making Art had bled into other areas of her life and said she felt like “the petals of a flower that had opened in the warm sun”.
